Product Description

The 5A26457G01 is a hot-swappable relay digital output module for Emerson Ovation distributed control system (originally Westinghouse Ovation). It receives digital logic commands from the Ovation controller backplane and drives field loads via 16 independent Form-C relay contacts. Each relay provides common, normally open and normally closed contacts, suitable for switching solenoid valves, contactors, alarm beacons and trip interlock circuits. Built-in channel status feedback and relay fault detection are used to report contact operational status back to the Ovation controller. Isolation between DCS logic circuit and field high voltage circuit protects the DCS rack from surge and back EMF interference. It is widely used in power plant, petrochemical and large process DCS as interlock and alarm output spare module.
