Product Description
The 1769-OF4VI is a 4-channel galvanically isolated analog voltage output module within Rockwell Allen‑Bradley Compact I/O family for CompactLogix controllers. It converts digital setpoint values from the PLC backplane into configurable analog voltage signals to drive control valves, positioners, variable-speed drives and other analog actuators. It features group isolation between the analog output circuit and controller backplane, which mitigates ground loop interference and protects the control rack from field-side electrical transients. The module supports multiple voltage signal ranges and also optional 4–20mA current output with external field power supply. Equipped with removable wiring arm terminals, built-in short-circuit and overvoltage protection, it performs continuous self-diagnosis and reports channel faults back to the CompactLogix CPU. This compact DIN rail module is widely deployed for precision closed-loop analog control in medium and small automation systems.
