Product Description
The DC-PDOD51 (part code 51454820-175) is a hot-swappable digital output electronic module for Honeywell Experion C200 / C300 DCS control system. It provides 32-channel 24VDC solid-state source output, controlled by C-series controller backplane commands. It drives field 24VDC loads including solenoid valves, contactor coils, indicator lamps and ESD auxiliary interlock signals. Each channel has electronic overcurrent protection, and the module implements 1000Vrms galvanic isolation between DCS logic side and field wiring side to protect the DCS rack from field surge and back EMF damage. It supports configurable safe-state strategy: hold last value or force to predefined safe state upon fault. This module has conformal coated PCB option for corrosive plant environments, widely used in petrochemical, oil & gas and power plant Experion DCS as critical on-off interlock spare module.
