Product Description
The FBM214b is a fieldbus module from Foxboro I/A Series DCS platform, an enhanced 8-channel HART communication analog input module. It receives 4–20mA loop signals with superimposed HART FSK digital data from smart field transmitters, supporting mixed connection of conventional 4-20mA analog devices and HART-enabled instruments. Each channel integrates dedicated HART modem to realize bidirectional digital communication, enabling the DCS to retrieve measurement values, device status, diagnostic alarms and perform remote configuration. With galvanic isolation design, it protects the control rack from ground loop interference and electrical transients, built for continuous heavy-duty process automation and asset management in critical industrial plants.
