Product Description
The 1769-OF4CI is a 4-channel galvanically isolated current analog output module within Rockwell Allen‑Bradley Compact I/O series for CompactLogix controllers. It converts digital setpoint values transmitted over the CompactLogix backplane into standard 4–20mA or 0–20mA current loop signals to control modulating valves, actuator positioners and variable frequency drives. It provides galvanic isolation between the output group and PLC backplane to suppress ground loop noise and protect rack electronics from field-side electrical transients. This module is optimized for current loop transmission, ideal for long field wiring distances commonly seen in process industries. It features removable wiring terminals, open-circuit detection, short-circuit protection and continuous channel diagnostic reporting back to the CompactLogix controller. It adopts compact DIN rail mounting and supports hot swap replacement.
